Made this piece yesterday. Its actually got elements stolen from a previous post in my illustration blog [link] called Melted Oassi. Its inspired by an Illustrated Type Tutorial I've just finished for Design Instruct
[link] not up yet, But I will post up the piece and a link to the tutorial once its up. With this piece I really wanted to adopt a different workflow. And so I opened up my Melted Oasis ai file and and start to develop the type for it. once I finished to type I copy and pasted each character and a variety of elements into Photoshop and just played with it. I've forgotten how much fun Photoshop can be. I think for future works I'm going to adopt this Photoshop and Illustrator work flow.

I really enjoy the combination of different elements joining together. The overlapping typography, blurred and in focus vibrant shapes make this awesome!
